| GF83.10-P-2102-02A | Blower, function | |
| Function The control voltage is switched to the blower regulator via the blower switch integrated into the automatic heater (HEAT)/air conditioning (Tempmatic) control module. With AAC the air conditioning (AAC) control module compares the control voltage with a stored curve and switches it to the blower regulator which then actuates the blower. Manual operation is possible in 7 stages. Residual engine heat utilization In the residual engine heat utilization mode the control voltage is switched to the air conditioning (AAC) control module via the REST button ( ).The voltages specified in the table below are maximum values. Different values can be measured when the recirculated air mode is switched on or the filters are clogged. |
The AAC blower control is influenced by the following parameters: AUTO/manual blower setting
Time characteristics
Control function (EC, defroster, air distribution)
Outdoor temperature
Mode status heating/cooling
Sun intensity (models 210 and 140 only)
Cooling water temperature
Vehicle speed
Position of fresh air/recirculated air flap
Position of activated charcoal filter flap (models 210 and 140 with activated charcoal filter only, code 306a)
