Function prerequisites no overvoltage/undervoltage circuit 15 off and circuit 15R off and circuit 15C off. Function The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives over CAN the request for convenience opening and then actuates the tilting/sliding roof motor (M12/1). The direction in which the motor is actuated depends on whether the sliding roof or the tilting roof is open. If the tilting/sliding roof is closed, then the sliding roof is opened. The motor is actuated until the overhead control panel control module (N70) via the position measurement detects

that the sliding or tilting roof is completely open. The convenience opening function of the tilting/sliding roof is only available in the normalized state. Exception: if the convenience closing function of the tilting/sliding roof was interrupted by lock-up, the overhead control panel control module (N70), after the request for convenience opening, moves the tilting/sliding roof back so that the lock-up is canceled again (emergency opening). The convenience opening function of the tilting/sliding roof is aborted if the request over CAN is no longer received or lock-up of the tilting/sliding roof is detected or the function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.
